Marie joined the Dementia Bermuda team as Clinical Director in June 2024. She is a local leader in the field of dementia care in Bermuda. As a Masters level therapist, she brings 20 years of clinical experience, supporting individuals with dementia to continue living life to the fullest. Having been personally touched by dementia, Marie has made it her goal to assist her clients with successfully aging at home with the support of their family caregivers to reduce the overall cost and burden of care for this vulnerable population.
Marie has had a long association with Dementia Bermuda, since her return to Bermuda in 2012, first as an independent contractor and more latterly through Northstar Dementia (Northstar) which she founded in 2021. As Clinical Director at Dementia Bermuda, Marie provides clinical oversight for our services and leads all advocacy efforts which are critical at this stage.
Marie is an Executive Member of the Board of Occupational Therapists, a member of the Bermuda Occupational Therapy Association and is the founder of Northstar.

Deidre Jones-Mundy
Deidre is an experienced occupational therapist with over a decade of clinical practice. She officially joined Dementia Bermuda on May 1st, 2025, following the organisation’s merger with Northstar Dementia. Deidre first began working with the team in 2023 under Northstar, delivering personalised, in-home dementia care and caregiver support across the community.
Since 2012, Deidre has also worked as an occupational therapist at the Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB), a role she continues on a part-time basis while dedicating the majority of her time to Dementia Bermuda’s In-Home Occupational Therapy services.
Deidre is deeply committed to helping individuals with dementia remain safe, independent and supported in their own homes. She empowers families with practical strategies, adaptive tools and compassionate guidance to manage the evolving challenges of dementia care. Grounded in person-centred, community-based practice, Deidre brings expertise, empathy and dedication to every family she supports.

Things that are Important to Me: Family is important to me and being a dog mom. My family is very close so I am appreciative of the times we spend together though we each have busy lives.
I would like you to know: I enjoy travelling and spending time with nature. Spending time by the water brings me peace and reminds me of how beautiful our island is I will be forever grateful.
My Life so Far: I have worked as an Occupational Therapist for 8 years. I studied Occupational Therapy in London and returned to Bermuda, as I was a scholarship recipient. I am currently the Occupational Therapist for Child and Adolescent Services at MWI. I love travelling and seeing the world with family and friends. Outside of work, I enjoy doing community service and giving back to those in need.
