NorthStar is owned and managed by Marie Fay Occupational Therapist (OT), a local leader in the field of Dementia care in Bermuda. A Masters level therapist, Marie brings 18 years of clinical experience supporting individuals with dementia to continue living life to the fullest. Marie has been personally touched by dementia, as her uncle was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 63. Since her return to Bermuda in 2013, Marie has offered dementia care consultation services, as well as public education events, and advocacy initiatives at the national level. Marie is an Executive Member of the Board of Occupational Therapists, and Chairperson and Founder of the Bermuda Dementia Alliance.
